LTRC Membership Terms & Conditions

By registering or renewing membership with Lake Tuggeranong Rowing Club (LTRC), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

Membership

• I have selected the LTRC membership category that correctly reflects how I intend to participate in Club activities during the 2026/27 season.
• Membership fees are payable in accordance with the membership option selected during registration.
• Membership periods and applicable fees are those published on the LTRC 'Become a Member' page.
• New members may join throughout the year where membership periods are available. Pro-rata fees or other applicable arrangements will be as displayed during the registration process.
• Existing members must renew using their existing LTRC membership and should not create a duplicate account.

Rowing ACT Registration

LTRC is affiliated with Rowing ACT.

• Members who participate in rowing must have the appropriate Rowing ACT registration for their participation category.
• Competitive registration is required for members who wish to compete in eligible regattas, including Winter Time Trials.
• Recreational registration applies to members participating recreationally.
• Where applicable, Rowing ACT registration and associated fees are included in the LTRC membership fee.
• Members are responsible for selecting the appropriate membership and Rowing ACT participation category when registering.

Members must maintain the appropriate registration for their intended participation at LTRC. A member who does not have the required registration may not be permitted to row or participate in activities for which that registration is required.

Safety and Member Responsibilities

By registering or renewing my LTRC membership, I confirm that:

• I am medically and physically fit to participate in rowing and related activities.
• I can proficiently swim at least 100 metres while wearing shorts and a T-shirt.
• I understand and accept that rowing and water-based activities involve inherent risks, including the risk of accident, injury, property damage or loss.
• I agree to follow all LTRC safety procedures, directions and Club rules.
• I will comply with the safety requirements and procedures detailed in the LTRC 'Members Handbook'.
• I will follow reasonable directions given by LTRC coaches, committee members, safety officers or other authorised Club representatives.
• I will use Club equipment and facilities responsibly and in accordance with Club procedures.
• I understand that failure to comply with Club rules, safety procedures or reasonable directions may result in restrictions on my participation or other action by the Club.

Changes to Membership Information

LTRC may update membership categories, fees, registration requirements, Club rules and safety procedures from time to time.

Members are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration remains current and for complying with the requirements applicable to their membership and participation.

Acceptance

By submitting a new membership application or renewing an existing membership, I confirm that I have read, understood and agree to these LTRC Membership Terms & Conditions and the Club's applicable rules and safety requirements.
